Individuals
There are two options for an adding an individual living at a BFPO address; one being a serving person and the other being a family member.
When you choose the country to be BFPO within ‘add/edit individual’, the options for addressing will become:
First Name* - e.g. Joe
Last Name* - e.g. Bloggs
Service No (if applicable)– enter the service number if the recipient is a serving member
Rank (if applicable)- enter the service number if the recipient is a serving member
Name in card (optional) – enter the name you would normally call this recipient (if different from first name) e.g. Joe Boy (used for auto-addressing cards)
Name for addressing envelope (if no Service No. and Rank)– this becomes mandatory if there is no service number or rank entered. Please enter a name for addressing the envelope e.g. Mr J Bloggs.
Address Line 1* (e.g. Unit/Regiment) – enter either a Unit or Regiment if the recipient is a serving member or a street address if not.
Address Line 2 (e.g. Operation Name)
Address Line 3 (optional)
BFPO No* - enter the BFPO number
Country* = BFPO
Couples
When you click on BFPO, the options for addressing will become:
Couple name* - e.g. Mr and Mrs Bloggs
File under* - ‘B’ for Bloggs
Names in card* - e.g. Joe and Ann (used for auto-addressing cards)
Names for addressing envelope* - enter a name for addressing the envelope e.g. Mr J Bloggs.
Address Line 1* - enter a street address
Address Line 2 (optional)
Address Line 3 (optional)
BFPO No* - enter the BFPO number
Country* = BFPO
Households
When you click on BFPO, the options for addressing will become:
Household name* - e.g. The Bloggs Family
File under* - ‘B’ for Bloggs
Names in card* - e.g. Joe, Ann, Tom and Harry (used for auto-addressing cards)
Names for addressing envelope* - enter a name for addressing the envelope e.g. The Bloggs Family
Address Line 1* - enter a street address
Address Line 2 (optional)
Address Line 3 (optional)
BFPO No* - enter the BFPO number
Country* = BFPO
Price for sending cards to a BFPO address
The price for a card to a BFPO address is the same as sending a card to a recipient in the UK.
