Navigate to the correct page
- Click on 'Add greeting/signature' in your 'my account' page and follow the instructions below (you will need to be logged in to do this).
Write your greeting/signature
- Click on ‘click here for a template’ and print it off or draw a box that is 130mm by 40mm. This is the size of the area you have to write your message into.
- Write your greeting or signature into this box taking care not to extend over the edges. An ink based pen will scan/print more clearly than a biro type pen. Your greeting/signature will be printed in the colour you write in. Please use the whitest paper available to you.
Scan your greeting/signature
- Scan your greeting/signature at a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Please refer to your particular scanners instructions on how to do this.
Crop and resize your greeting/signature
- Once scanned, use your scanners software to cut/crop the image from just within the borders of the box, or use a free website such as www.picnik.com. Please ensure you do not leave any borders on the cropped image as they will be printed.
- Once the image is cropped, save this new image to your computer. You are now ready to upload your greetings/signatures to your personal account with stayinthegoodbooks.com
Upload your greeting/signature
- Click on ‘Browse’ and locate the file you have just saved on your computer
- Label your signature/greeting i.e. give it a name you will recognise such as ‘To Mum Blue’ or ‘With Love Black’
- Click on ‘Upload’
If you are having problems with this process, please print off the template, complete and send to us by post, and we will scan it into your account. We will email you once your greeting/signature is ready for use.
